The latest endeavor from the Pubbelly Boys is a modern brasserie in Mid-Beach called L’Echon (a play on the Spanish pork dish called lechon). Currently perfecting their brand new Sunday brunch menu, the chefs offer starters from the sea including sushi rolls, oysters and ceviche, plus delicate brown butter crepes and hearty French toast topped with crispy frog legs. Traditional egg dishes are also served along with the restaurant’s signature burger topped with bacon, carmelized onions and bernaise sauce. Brunch service is on Sundays from noon until 4pm.

Chef Kris Wessel makes a trip to Lincoln Road Mall simply delicious at Oolite Restaurant and Bar where a brand new 11am – 5pm Sunday brunch service starts with live music and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Guests can opt for a gluten-free, healthy regional Beach Package menu which can be served a la carte for $27 or a Beach Party Package that includes bottomless mimosas and bloody marys for $40. Choose an entree like Huevos Rancheros or Eggs Sardou and pair it with house-baked sweets, fresh fruit and soft drinks.

Chef Jose Mendin warms up his brunch menu this season with Pumpkin Pie Pancakes topped with walnut butter and maple syrup plus a playful riff on bananas foster served over PB French Toast Sticks with seasonal marmalade. If that doesn’t inspire you to get out of bed on a Sunday from noon until 4pm, you just might be hungover. Good thing the chef includes his signature Hangover Grub menu including hearty Udon Carbonara topped with a poached egg, smoked bacon and parmigiano or an updated Mofongo topped with pork belly chicharron in a shoyu broth.
